Those interested in a career on the water are travelling to the Whitsunday region in Queensland to undertake their commercial training.

The Whitsunday Maritime Training Centre is attracting students from as far as Karratha in Western Australia, by offering high-standard commercial courses and instructors with top-notch facilities.

The award-winning Whitsunday Maritime Training Centre (WMTC) gives students first-hand experience during their training, as they perform course elements, such as survival jumps, at the Port of Airlie.

The centre is dedicated to high-standard delivery to students and building the steps towards a maritime career.

Located right on the water overlooking Pioneer Bay and the beautiful Whitsunday islands, WMTC offers a range of training courses, from a simple boat licence, MED 2/3, through to Master 5 certification and the Certificate of Safety Training (STCW95) and Security Awareness Training.

The Whitsunday Maritime Training Centre is a registered training organisation based at the Whitsunday Sailing Club in Airlie Beach, Queensland.
