Courses are held in the Whitsunday Maritime Training Centre at the Whitsunday Sailing Club. Address: 11 Ocean Road, Airlie Beach.

The course is conducted in a classroom-type, face to face trainer-led environment incorporating both theory and practical training.
CPR includes Defibrillator Orientation.

No recommended age however we suggest 12 years minimum

COMPETENCIES INCLUDE:
HLTAID011    Provide First Aid                                                                   8.30am-1pm                             $154

HLTAID009   Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)                      From 10.30am                          $ 65  (for CPR only)

HLTAID010   Provide basic emergency life support                                   From 1pm                                  $115

OUTCOMES
The CPR qualification is achieved in conjunction with Provide First aid and Oxygen qualification or as an individual competency. You will be able to perform CPR, apply Oxygen treatment and have a basic understanding of defibrillator operation. This is a useful and often required competency on Dive Boat Operations.
