Yachting Australia – Power Boat Handling Certificate (This is a pre-requisite for the YA Instructors course)

Course is dependant on number of enrolments.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Boat Licence, Senior First Aid Certificate
COURSE FEE:

$220.00 includes  BBQ lunch

QUALIFICATION:

The competencies are registered with the Sport and Recreation Training Australia Industry Training Advisory Board. As such, achievement of the competencies may lead to the issuing of a Statement of Attainment and an ANTA endorsed Certificate.

SRO ORE 001A – Plan and Prepare a Power Boat Activity
SRO YAC 002A, MEM50.9EA – Operate Safely a Power Boat
SRO YAC 002A – Operate Engine
SRO ORE002A, SRONAV002A – Perform a Safe Power Boat Activity
SRO YAC004A – Vessels knowledge
SRO OPS002A – Work with the Environment

OUTCOMES:

The aim of the course is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to safely handle a recreational powerboat.
Participants will have the opportunity to obtain a Marine Drivers Licence.
